International registers

The Association of Certified Professional Managers (ACPM) establishes international professional registers — exclusive and official databases of certified specialists that provide indisputable proof of their high level of qualification in accordance with the most rigorous international standards.

This large-scale initiative is built upon ACPM’s extensive experience in professional certification and the accreditation of educational programmes, training centres, and more. Over the years, the Association has awarded thousands of diplomas to highly qualified specialists from across the globe. These professionals now work in key fields such as finance, management, auditing, international reporting standards, tax consultancy, and many others. They are not only leaders in their respective industries but also set new benchmarks for quality and reliability in the world of business and management practices.

Aims and Purpose of the Registers:

01

Recognition and Trust

the register serves as undeniable proof of a specialist’s high professional status and qualifications, symbolising their achievements in finance, management, taxation, business, and beyond. It ensures unwavering trust among colleagues and clients.

02

Ease of Verification

employers, partners, and clients can easily locate a specialist in the register by entering their diploma number or surname, ensuring complete transparency and swift verification of their credentials.

03

Market Transparency

access to detailed information about each certified specialist not only strengthens trust in the professional community but also raises quality standards across the market, providing clarity and reliability when selecting partners and experts.

Conditions and Criteria for Inclusion and Listing of Specialists in the ACPM Registers:

Verification of Professional Qualifications

To be included in the register, a specialist must hold certificates or diplomas that confirm their high level of qualification in a specific professional field. These must be accredited by ACPM or other recognised international organisations. The following categories of professionals may be included in the registers:

  • Holders of ACPM Diplomas and Certificates awarded upon successful completion of examinations.
  • ACPM Experts and Members who have verified their qualifications through internal or international certification procedures.
  • Holders of Diplomas and Certificates from Other International Professional Bodies who have undergone a recognition process and meet ACPM’s qualification standards accordingly.

Continuous Professional Development

To maintain their listing in the register, specialists are required to engage in continuous professional development. This should be achieved through training at accredited centres, participation in workshops, seminars, webinars, and by obtaining new certificates that confirm their ongoing professional competence.

Each specialist must complete at least 20 hours of training per year, or obtain a certificate/diploma upon completion of a recognised professional development programme.

Annual Membership Fee

To remain listed in the register, a specialist must pay an annual membership fee, set by the Association for the relevant calendar year.

Removal from the Register Due to Non-Compliance

A specialist will be automatically removed from the register if they fail to pay the annual fee and/or do not meet the continuing education requirement for one year.

To reinstate their status, the individual must undergo the qualification verification process, including the necessary training and certification.

Qualification Recognised by International Certificates and Diplomas

Specialists holding certificates or diplomas from international organisations must complete a recognition process to ensure their qualifications meet ACPM’s standards. This verification is mandatory for inclusion in the register.

Confirmation of Practical Experience

In addition to academic qualifications, the register requires evidence of practical experience in the relevant professional field. This can include documented achievements, references from employers, and projects the specialist has worked on.

Practical experience is a mandatory criterion in most registers, particularly for tax consultants, internal auditors, financial managers, and IFRS specialists.

Transparency and Information Access

All register members must ensure easy access to their qualification details, providing full transparency for potential employers, partners, clients, and other interested parties. Specialists are expected to regularly update their information in the register to reflect the current status of their qualifications.

Requirements for Maintaining ACPM Membership

Specialists wishing to retain ACPM membership and their listing in the registers must fulfil all organisational requirements, including participation in ACPM events, adherence to ethical and professional standards, and compliance with obligations regarding annual registration fees, continuous learning, and professional development.

These conditions ensure that only highly qualified professionals, who are committed to ongoing learning and excellence, retain their place in the register and continue to deliver top-level professional services.
