The course ‘ACPM: Personnel Accounting in Poland: From Basics to Practice’ reveals the topic of HR and payroll, to study the principles, foundations, specifics of the rules and accruals in the Polish realities and on the basis of Polish legislation.
The course is designed to:
1. People with a basic level of knowledge in accounting and administrative work - those who have basic knowledge of accounting or have worked with primary documentation, as well as those who have not been an accountant before but want to start a career in accounting or administration.
2. Immigrants to Poland who are looking for employment opportunities in the field of administration or accounting in Polish companies. The course will help you master the skills required to work in local companies.
3. Professionals who want to combine accounting skills with HR and recruiting functions - for example, to work in payroll or HR management.
4. Companies opening branches in Poland and their employees who need knowledge of local accounting and administrative standards.
Requirements for candidates
Completing the certification program does not require specific education or experience, but basic knowledge of management, economics, and finance will be an advantage.

Hard skills
- Knowledge of Polish labour and civil law - understanding of the legal framework for HR work.
- Skills in concluding and terminating employment contracts - selecting and executing contracts according to the type of work.
- HR documentation - preparation and maintenance of personal files, documents for funds and other formalities.
- Payroll - knowledge of payments, social security contributions, personal income tax and deductions.
- Leave and Overtime Management - keeping records of working hours, calculating leave and additional payments.
- Cooperation with state funds (ZUS, US, GUS) - work with e-platnik, PUE ZUS platforms and reporting.
- Ability to work with Platnik software - automation of calculations and preparation of mandatory reports.

Exam and certificate
The official ACPM exam is held monthly on a scheduled basis, online. Pre-registration is required to participate in the exam. The list of required documents and the exam registration form are available in the e-learning system.
The exam consists of 20 test questions and 4 tasks. The exam lasts 3 hours.
Passing score: 60.
The ACPM International Certificate exam is administered by administrators using a proctoring system (monitoring the student and their computer screen). Completed tasks are checked and evaluated by ACPM-accredited teachers.
Exam results are communicated to candidates by email 2 weeks after the exam. The international ACPM certificate is sent to the same email address within 2 months from the date of the results announcement in electronic form if the candidate scored 60 or more points.
