History and Development
In 2008, the Non-Profit Educational Institution “Eurasian Institute of Information and Innovative Technologies” was granted a licence to conduct educational activities in the field of higher and secondary vocational education.
In 2010, in accordance with the decision of the founders, the institute was transformed into the Non-Profit Educational Institution “Eurasian University”.
In 2012, Eurasian University received a new licence to carry out educational activities in the field of higher professional education.
Since its establishment, the university has been steadily developing, strengthening its academic reputation, expanding its educational programmes, and improving its material and technical infrastructure.
Strategic Partnerships and International Cooperation
Eurasian University actively develops international relations by signing agreements with leading educational institutions across various countries. These partnerships promote knowledge exchange, academic mobility, and the implementation of joint scientific and educational projects.
Key milestones in international cooperation:
- 2013 – Agreement signed on cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and science with the Ural Institute of Economics, Management, and Law
- 2014 – Certificate of state re-registration of the legal entity obtained
- 2014 – Memorandum of cooperation signed with Kannam Yongdong College (South Korea)
- 2017 – Memorandum of cooperation signed with the International University (USA)
- 2017 – Cooperation established with Kunjang University (South Korea)
- 2017 – Memorandum signed with Kyungin Women’s University (South Korea)
- 2017 – Cooperation agreement on academic exchange and mobility signed with the Eurasian Law Academy named after D.A. Kunaev (Republic of Kazakhstan)
- 2018 – Memoranda of cooperation signed with Kyungpook National University, Gwangju University, and Gwangju Health University (South Korea)
- 2019 – Memorandum of understanding signed with Georgia Central University (Atlanta, USA)
- 2019 – Cooperation agreements signed with Kyungwoon University and Chungcheong Kyungpook University (South Korea)
- 2025 – Memorandum of cooperation signed with Kunaev University (Republic of Kazakhstan)
- 2025 – Cooperation agreement signed with LLP "International Engineering and Technology University" (Republic of Kazakhstan)
International cooperation enables the university’s students and faculty members to take part in academic exchange programmes, internships, and broaden their professional horizons on a global scale.
Licences and Accreditations
Eurasian University consistently demonstrates that its educational programmes meet both national and international quality standards.
- 2008 – The Non-Profit Educational Institution “Eurasian Institute of Information and Innovative Technologies” was granted a licence to conduct educational activities in the field of higher and secondary vocational education by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- 2012 – The Non-Profit Educational Institution Eurasian University was granted a licence to conduct educational activities in the field of higher professional education by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- 2020 – A certificate of independent programme accreditation was awarded for the “Economics” field of study by the Public Foundation “Bilim-Standard”.
- 2025 – The “Economics” programme successfully passed independent programme accreditation by the Agency for Accreditation of Quality and Rating. The accreditation is valid for five years.
- 2025 – The “Professional Bookkeeper” educational programme (Faculty of Economics) received international accreditation from the Association of Certified Professional Managers (ACPM, United Kingdom) within the framework of the ACPM: HEI initiative.
These achievements confirm the high level of specialist training and the university’s commitment to continuous improvement in the quality of education.
Programmes Accredited by ACPM
Based on the results of the analysis and evaluation, the ACPM expert committee concluded that the Professional Bookkeeper programme at the Non-Profit Educational Institution Eurasian University meets modern international requirements and accreditation standards. The programme demonstrates a high level of academic preparation, professional focus, and an innovative approach to learning.
As a result of the accreditation, the programme has been awarded the Advanced Quality Mark.
