On June 25, our community held a dinner called "Skills for Digital Britain" to celebrate ten years of its existence. Representatives of the organization and friends of the ACPM Academy gathered.
We remind you that the community of professional managers ACPM, previously called Professional Managers of Future, has existed since 2009. We started as a group of like-minded people who united for the development of management and the financial sector after the 2008 crisis. Over the ten years of its existence, the community has turned into an academy that continues to work on improving the quality of managers' qualifications.
The dinner party took place in a festive and working mood. The members of the academy not only announced congratulations but also made short reports on the prospects for further development.
"Our academy may not boast a long-standing history, but its youthful age is not a hindrance, but an advantage. It is manifested in the speed of decision-making, ambition, and a fresh perspective on problem-solving. I hope that we will select the best from the experience of senior colleagues and organizations, and also adopt modern tools to influence key business professionals," stated Richard Eric Lawrence Oliphant, the director of ACPM, in his speech.
Representatives of the academy and business also discussed the academy's goals and objectives for the coming years, assessing business requests for standardization of managers' qualifications. During the discussion, it was concluded that the academy should concentrate its work on the professional development of managers, as well as establish contact with foreign partners in order to achieve common goals. It was also decided that ACPM will launch the process of accreditation of educational companies for mutual strengthening and popularization of the academy's programs.
