On April 28, 2020, ACPM held its first online meeting for academy members and everyone involved. The subject of discussion: new challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic and the further format of the academy's work.
The quarantine brings its own adjustments to the usual rhythm of life and affects many plans and processes. Therefore, ACPM decided to change the meeting format and move the work online to ensure the safety of all its participants. And the first meeting of the academy this year was already held in a new format. It was attended by the director of ACPM Richard Eric Lawrence Oliphant, his deputies, members of the academy and old friends-managers from Tech City.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting:

monitoring the state of business during the pandemic;

tools for maintaining communication and productive work of ACPM;

further work plans of ACPM for 2020-2021.
In the unprecedented conditions of the pandemic, it is still difficult to track the current state of business. Retail is under tremendous pressure from customers and is looking for ways to get online quickly. Representatives of other areas of business transferred their staff to remote work. This format opened promising directions for the development of companies, but also demonstrated a low level of self-organization of employees. Therefore, changing working conditions require greater professionalism and the ability to quickly adapt from modern managers.
Due to the pandemic, the ACPM is also adjusting its plans. As a result of the meeting, it has been decided to accelerate the expansion of geographical activities and to organize another online meeting regarding the search for partners and like-minded individuals in the field of professional manager certification.
