The University is a private higher education institution established in 2019.
Mission: To serve as the intellectual centre of the capital, where knowledge, ideas, and professions vital to the recovery and future development of Ukraine are created. History and Development
The University of Kyiv, established in 2019, is a forward-looking higher education institution created through the collaboration of its founders with the administrations of the city of Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and other municipalities across Ukraine. It was founded with the vision of developing a modern university capable of addressing the strategic needs of the capital and the country.
Drawing on international experience, the University combines high academic standards with practical, future-oriented education. From the outset, it has been designed as a multidisciplinary institution integrating education, research, and innovation across a wide range of fields essential for societal development.
The University’s establishment reflects the challenges facing Ukraine, including the need for reconstruction, modernisation, and sustainable development. In this context, it aims to educate a new generation of professionals and leaders who are both globally competitive and committed to contributing to the future of Ukraine.

The University is currently undergoing the licensing process for Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes across multiple fields, marking an important stage in its institutional development.
